We have been taking our cars to Leon's since we moved up here 5 years ago. Their work is thorough, and they explain everything they are doing. They even patiently listen to stories of "noises" so that they can figure out what the problem really is!

leons are the "go to guys" in the area ... for the car care specified ... but ...only if you want it done right. they are professional,thurough.competant and well equipped ...

Very friendly staff. Was given a projected four hour wait time on my repairs, done in half the time! Very happy with the estimate, the final costs, the length of time they took, and the work done. Would recommend Leon's to anyone.

It took me a year to find the right autobody shop after moving to the area, but I'm glad I found Leon's. David is a good & honest shop foreman and Billy has been very helpful identifying whatever was wrong with my vehicles. I'd recommend this autobody shop to anyone in Humboldt County.

I am shocked to read such negative reviews regarding Leon's Car Care. Not only have I found the service staff friendly and knowledgeable, but I found their work very affordable as well as professionally and ethically sound. My old truck has been to three mechanics in a month and a half. I found a leak every other mechanic told me did not exist. While repairing my exhaust system the Leon's mechanic identified not only the leak I suspected but also several other details that could be of concern should I want to be driving around the mountain safely. Perhaps the previous customers didn't appreciate receiving such thorough details about their vehicle and mistook a responsible mechanic's task to INFORM their customer of potential points of concern as attempting to dig more money out of their pocket. Personally, I prefer understanding the details of my vehicle's challenges so I might best tend to it's health. Back east I had close, personal experience with less knowledgeable mechanics who indeed were eager to create issues that were not necessary and acted on their suspicions without speaking to me first. I do not confuse Leon's strength in accountability (with regard to potential problems) with unscrupulous business practices. Rather, I find their efforts essential to my investment in the life of the vehicle that carries me safely across the country. As you can see, I can not say enough good about Leon's. Thanks Leon (and your courteous, knowledgeable, trustworthy professionals) for service. I am happy to bring my old truck up to speed in the capable, trusted hands of your uncommon, honest motorheads! :D

We have consistently received excellent service at Leon's. They always consult before doing any services or installing any parts over what they first estimated. They are on time and always very courteous. Their reminder system is also very helpful. I recommend Leon's to anyone looking for a responsible mechanic for routine maintenance as well as more challenging repairs.
