My vehicle died while I was running errands in Eureka on Thursday, August 20, 2026 had to be towed to Leons. It turned out to be the alternator that needed to be replaced. I was told that the work might not be done until Monday, so I was prepared to not have a vehicle over the weekend. I was very pleasantly surprised to get a call that the work was done early afternoon on Friday. Leons is amazing! I have been a long time customer and have never been disappointed.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.. I was given an inspection and estimate for an A/C repair and although the work and parts will be fairly costly, Adrian clued me in to a state funded rebate program designed specifically to financially assist in A/C repair costs. I looked into this program and two weeks later was approved, which will save me about 50% of the total cost.. AMAZING!!! ..thanks to everyone at Leon’s for their professionalism, compassion, and know-how. Keep up the great work!

Received thorough and timely estimates of the required repairs. The technician was helpful in helping me discern the immediate repair needs vs the maintenance items. Repairs were done ahead of schedule. I was really happy with the level or service and professionalism.

My husband and I trailered our 1930 Model A Sports Coupe to Northern California for an old car tour. Our host hotel was located in Fortuna. Unfortunately, while loading Emily, that’s our cars name, the muffler encountered an issue. After consulting with several of our club member car gurus the consensus was to replace the muffler, but where? Luckily, our Google search took us to Leon’s Car Care Center in Eureka. Our experience from the intake call to approaching the shop desk counter was a good experience all around. Emily was a hit with the crew and technicians. To ensure that Emily received the care, as the old girl she is, Dale Warmuth, General Manager, approached us regarding the possibility of getting a 1930 muffler replacement that we kindly declined. While having to deal with the unexpected glitch on our trip, it was made easier from the very beginning to the end through the professionalism, respect and human kindness we were shown and experienced. If you’re ever traveling in Northern California and need a car repair don’t hesitate to reach out to Leon’s Car Care Center where you’ll be treated as a long lost friend.
