Leon's is simply fantastic! Everyone there is professional, experienced & super friendly. The prices are always very reasonable & they do great work. PLUS, homemade cookies & coffee make their already comfortable waiting room even more so. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else!

Amazing! A job my local muffler shops wouldn't touch because it was too "complicated" was no problem for the crew at Leon's, with a special shout out for Jim Frasier for a great effort. I'm restoring a 1948 GMC 1-ton flatbed and needed to replace the exhaust system from the manifold back to the muffler. I live in a rural area about 35 miles from the nearest shops and because I couldn't bring the truck to them none of them would even attempt to make something for me. I'm a 25 year former resident of Humboldt County though I now live 2500 miles from Eureka. I got the crazy idea to call Leon's. With just a couple of calls, a few emails and some pictures and measurements they were able to put together a system and ship it to me. It fit perfectly! The difficult parts of the job that the local shops said were impossible to get right unless the truck was in their shop turned out to be not impossible for Jim and the crew. Even though I haven't lived in Humboldt in many years it felt like old times talking with Carrie, Dale and Jim and a nice introduction to Jason, the next generation. The only things I missed were the cookies. Thank you all for what I hope was an interesting and fun job. Leon's Car Care Center is a great and friendly place to do business with!

Leon's continues to be our go-to mechanic for our vehicles. They are prompt to schedule service, complete service promptly, and are unfailingly courteous and thorough. They never complete any service without getting permission first. For example, we took our truck in for an oil change. They conducted that service and their usual included thorough review of the vehicle. The mechanic came into the waiting room (masked, as was everyone else in the room) and told us both the engine air filter and the cabin air filter needed changing. Since we'd been living with horrific wildfire smoke conditions for over a month, we were not surprised. Before doing the work, they showed us a printout that showed the revised cost for us to approve. For us, the no-surprises, permission-first approach really makes us confident in the work as well as understanding of the total cost. We highly recommend Leon's.
