My brake repair job started with an inspection of what may be needed. I knew there was at least one problem as the front wheel was sticking and got hot when driving it even a short distance. The brakes also hadn't been worked on since I bought the vehicle used, about 10,000 miles prior, and it already had many miles on it before that. They sent me a text with pictures of the old worn rotors and of other things they could see needed replacing or other work .Shortly after that the mechanic on the job called me personally to discuss his findings and recommendations. At this point I could pay an inspection fee ( under $100 ) and opt out or I could have them go ahead with their recommendations, which I decided to do. The work was all finished by late afternoon and the mechanic met with me , at my request, and discussed further the work he had done and why. He was professional, very knowledgeable and I was very pleased with his work and the overall experience at Leon's. Plus, they gave me a 10% AAA discount. I'll be taking my vehicle in soon for a tune up now that I know I have safe, working brakes and I recommend Leon's to anyone considering repairs in Humboldt.
